After much prayer and a nudging from my wonderful husband Bill, in 2001 I left Corporate America and a job that dominated my life.  I was looking for a hobby that would challenge me.  Searching the Internet, I stumbled across Connie Fox.  A wire jewelry artist, teaching classes in San Diego California.   After that first class, I was hooked on jewelry making and took every class Connie offered.  That decision has given me a skill that I love as well as a dear friend I love even more!

After 3 years of making and selling wire jewelry, I started teaching.  I became PMC Certified and offered Wire and PMC Classes.  A few years into teaching, I took my first soldering class.  I wish I could say, with my heart pounding, it was love at first site, but I must admit the fire scared me.  With persistence and God’s grace, my fears faded and the fun began.

I have had the privilege of training under some amazing jewelry artists and instructors.  Connie Fox, Barbara Minor, Pauline Warg,  Steff Koursage, Lisa D’Agostino and Blaine Lewis.  Much thanks to each of you for sharing your amazing talent!

What does my future hold?  For now, God is allowing me the gift to continue to teach and encourage others in their metals journey and to have fun and create along the way.

I am blessed to do what I love, and I love what I do!
